Responsible for the run-off and commutation negotiations of the entire North America book of assumed reinsurance liabilities and ceded reinsurance recoverables of a major reinsurance company. Oversaw and directly participated in commutations of over $1.8 billion in property and casualty business in less than two years time which led to the successful sale of the run-off entity. Responsibilities also included establishing the run-off plan and policies and procedures of the run-off entity as well as all dealings with regulatory authorities.
